Project
The project concerns the pre-feasibility study of three tramway lines in Abidjan (Yopougon – Adjamé, Abobo Doumé – Adjamé and Adjamé – Port-Bouët), with a total length of 40 km, identifying the conditions for implementing these three lines.
It will help meet growing transport demand and ease congestion on the main traffic corridors during peak hours.
Our mission
- Assessment of urban integration issues (rights-of-way, major obstacles, physical constraints) and preliminary justification of the three lines;
- Proposal of alignments at 1/5,000 scale with indication of the major civil engineering structures;
- Assessment of electrical issues related to an electric urban transport system and overall solutions;
- Estimate of investment and operating costs, implementation schedule and viability analysis (internal rate of return of each line);
- Preparation of the pre-feasibility report for each line.
