CONSTRUCTION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF THE FARCHA POWER PLANT, THE 66 KV DJERMAYA-N'DJAMENA LINE AND EXTENSION OF THE N'DJAMENA ELECTRICITY AND STREET LIGHTING NETWORK

Project

The Project comprises three components: 

• Component 1: 

Construction of a 60 MW heavy and light fuel oil power plant in Farcha, near N'Djaména. The duration of the works contract is 24 months. 

• Component 2: 

Construction of a 66 KV double trunk line, 40 km long, from the Djarmaya refinery power plant to the 66/90 KV substation in N'Djaména, and construction of a 66/90 KV substation in N'Djaména. The duration of the works contract is 24 months. 

• Component 3: 

Construction of the 60 km 90 KV loop around N'Djaména (42 km of overhead lines and 18 km of underground cable), 4 90 KV/15 KV substations at Pont Bélilé, Farcha, N'Djaména and Gassi, MV (250 km) and LV (300 km) distribution networks in N'Djaména, with 74 prefabricated 15 KV/400 V substations and 25 pole-mounted substations for the connection of 10. 000 subscribers and 4,000 street lamps, and the construction of a national dispatching centre in N'Djaména. The duration of the works contract is 36 months.
