Project
Following the validation of its candidacy by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Senegal will host the Youth Olympic Games (YOG), which will take place in 2026. For the organization of these YOG 2026, three (3) cities in Senegal are concerned :
- Dakar: for sporting events ;
- Diamniadio: for the Olympic Village and sporting events in competition and training ;
- Saly: for nautical events, golf and beach volleyball and beach hand, in competition and training.
For the State of Senegal, it will be a question of seizing the opportunity of these Olympic Games to renew existing sports equipment and bring them up to standard, aiming for the availability of infrastructure before the Games are held.
It is therefore a question of rehabilitating existing sports infrastructures in order to conform them to international standards. These are mainly :
- Iba Mar DIOP Stadium, located in the heart of Dakar;
- Samba Diéry Diallo barracks located in Colobane;
- Olympic swimming pool, in the Point Residential district
Our mission
- Mission 1 : Detailed Preliminary Project Studies and preparation of the Tender Documents for the rehabilitation and reconstruction works of the sports infrastructures of the Iba Mar Diop Stadium, the Samba Diéry Diallo Barracks, the Olympic Swimming Pool in Dakar and selected nearby sites;
- Mission 2 : Control and Supervision of rehabilitation work on sports infrastructure and operating equipment to be installed.
