BRAZZAVILLE DRINKING WATER SERVICE EXTENSION PROJECT IN PERIPHERAL AREAS (PEPS)

Project

The project is part of the Project for the Extension in Peripheral Areas and Reinforcement of the Drinking Water Service in Brazzaville (PEPS).

The works consist of:

  • The construction of about 680 km of secondary and tertiary network and 38,000 connections;
  • The renewal of 210 km of secondary and tertiary network and the construction of 25,000 connections. The installation of about 10 km of secondary network in small densification associated with the renewal works
  • The supply and installation of approximately 6 km of underground 20 kv electrical supply cable.
  • The supply and installation of various network equipment (pressure reducers, tees, valves, etc.)
  • The supply and installation of a motorized valve DN 800 mm with its servo-controls.
  • The replacement of approximately 65 valves, as well as various network accessories on the water distribution network. 
  • The supply and installation of a DN 400 mm cast iron pipe over 3 km.
  • The supply and installation of a DN 500 mm cast iron pipe over approximately 1.5 km.
  • The rehabilitation of a pumping station (225 m3/h for 60 mCE) and the construction of another one (37 m3/h for 30 mCE)

Our mission

  • Verification and approval of the execution plans of the Company.
  • Control and supervision of civil works, procurement, assembly and testing of equipment.
  • Approval of the contradictory attachments of the works
  • Permanent control of the Quality, Safety and Hygiene Plan of the construction site
  • Provisional acceptance of work and operation of equipment.
  • Establishment of the plans of recolement, the final accounts of the company and proposal of resolution of the litigations 
  • Drafting of the final report of the building site
