Project
The project involves the construction of a rail link to Kairouan from Enfidha. The selected alignment, approximately 48 km long, starts at Menzel Mahatta station, broadly follows the route of the GP2 road and bypasses the Kondar urban area to the west before reaching the multimodal station in Kairouan.
The dedicated right-of-way requires about 25 road grade-separation structures (16 overpasses and 9 underpasses). Two mixed-use stations are planned at Kondar and Kairouan, Menzel Mahatta station will be redeveloped, and stops will be built at Gmata, Bchachma and the Fatnassia industrial zone.

The Consultant’s services include:
- Preliminary design (APS);
- Detailed design study (APD);
- Environmental and social impact assessment;
- Preparation of the bidding documents.
