Signing of a new contract for technical supervision of construction work at the Port of Mongoumba in the Central African Republic

Published on

As part of its strategy to revitalize infrastructure, the Central African government, under the guidance of the President of the Republic, Professor Faustin Archange Touadéra, and the Prime Minister, His Excellency Félix Moloua, is taking a major step forward with the launch of the Port of Mongoumba.
This project is part of Corridor 13 (CD-13), a vast program to rehabilitate the national river network, aimed at restoring the free movement of people and goods, while strengthening trade between CAR and Congo-Brazzaville.
On April 28, a contract was signed between the Ministry of Public Works and the companies SCET Tunisie and LEGE ENGINEERING (RCA) for the technical supervision of the works. This partnership marks a new dynamic in regional cooperation and guarantees the seriousness and transparency of the project.
The Port of Mongoumba, a pillar of the CD-13 Corridor, represents a crucial lever for economic development and sub-regional integration.
