Since July 2023, we have been carrying out theoretical and practical training on HSSE on site for the National Sanitation Board (ONAS), as part of the Sanitation Project for 10 medium-sized towns II / Accompanying measures component. Since work on the WWTPs involves high HSSE risks (work at height and depth, work with medium-voltage equipment, etc.), ONAS, as promoter of the project, and KfW, as financial backer, entrusted SCET-TUNISIE with the training of ONAS personnel, as follows:
- Theoretical preparatory training for ONAS employees on HSSE topics
- On-site practical training for ONAS personnel.
It was in this context that a KfW delegation, accompanied by our teams, by ONAS, by the works company and the technical assistance office, visited the site of the wastewater treatment plants and associated networks in the towns of Thala and Feriana/Telepte on February 12 and 13, 2025, to ensure that the project was proceeding smoothly during the provisional acceptance phase of the WWTPs.
